Best Clubs in the World 2026: Global Voting is Underway!

The international nightlife industry is buzzing, and the competition for global supremacy has never been hotter. The International Nightlife Association (INA) has announced a monumental milestone—the official ranking for the best clubs in the world 2026 (The World’s 100 Best Clubs™) has officially crossed the 200,000 popular vote mark.

With exactly 201,853 votes cast so far, this year is shaping up to be one of the most interactive and fiercely contested editions in history. From massive superclubs to exclusive speakeasies, nightlife enthusiasts are rallying to ensure their favorite venues secure a spot among the elite.

A Truly Global Competition

This year’s edition is a perfect testament to the fact that nightlife is a universal language. With 646 nominated venues from 76 countries, the 2026 ranking is the most geographically diverse list ever organized by the INA.

Here is a quick look at the countries and cities leading the pack in nominations:

Top Countries by Nominations

United States (87)
United Kingdom (48)
Italy (29)

Other strong contenders include Colombia, Canada, France, Germany, and Japan, proving that top-tier nightlife is a truly worldwide phenomenon. Since voting remains open until November 2, organizers are confident they will smash the half-million vote mark before the polls close.

It’s Not Just a Popularity Contest

While the public vote is crucial, rallying fans is only half the battle. From October 1 to November 15, a professional jury of industry experts will step in to conduct a thorough evaluation of all nominated venues. This rigorous assessment accounts for a massive 50% of the final score.

The jury isn’t just looking for a packed dance floor. They evaluate a strict set of criteria that define a modern, responsible, and innovative venue:

  • Artistic Programming: Investment in top-tier musical talent and the continuous evolution of the venue.
  • Safety Measures: Protocols and procedures in place to protect both guests and staff.
  • Acoustics & Comfort: Sound system quality, soundproofing, and overall patron experience.
  • Customer Care: VIP management, service quality, and modern online reservation systems.
  • Sustainability: Implementation of the MRT system and an active commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Between August 1 and September 1, clubs will receive an official form to provide supporting information, ensuring the experts have a comprehensive, objective, and data-driven view of their operations.

Last Chance for the Golden Moon Awards Nominations

While club voting stays open for months, the clock is ticking for the 13 additional Golden Moon Awards™ 2026 categories. Public nominations for these prestigious awards will close soon on July 31.

These categories celebrate the visionaries behind the scenes—the individuals, festivals, and organizations driving innovation, safety, and sustainability in the industry. Some of the highly coveted titles include:
